The Parents Report investigates the state of education in Australia from parents’ perspectives.

The insights of Australian parents have been missing from discussions centred on education policy and funding, when in fact the ability of parents to observe, analyse and link together all aspects of their child’s education makes their insight essential to the growth and evolution of childhood education.

That is why, together with the Faculty of Education at Monash University, we developed this study, to understand how parents feel about the current educational environment in meeting their children’s learning needs.

Now in its fifth year, the Parents Report Card continues to evolve; probing deeper into emerging topics in education, such as internet safety and sexuality, which are promoting a shift in the mindset of all parents, teachers and policymakers.

It is our desire that the findings of this research, which are unique, will become an important part of the discourse on education matters.
